Our very own Tom Meyrose, who starred as Tevia in the class of 72 production of Fiddler on the Roof, is appearing at Lakewood's Beck Center for the Arts in The Farnsworth Invention, a new play by Aaron Sorkin, creator of The West Wing. Performances are Friday, Saturday, Sunday March 13 through April 11, 2009.

Synopsis: Separated by two thousand miles, two ambitious visionaries race against each other to invent and promote a device that would one day be called the "television."

The production is an ensemble piece with 18 actors playing about 80 parts. Tom will be playing several parts. The cast is a who's who of performers on the west side of Cleveland.

Tom is the Managing Director at The Huntington Playhouse in Bay Village, Oh. He has been associated with the theater in one capacity or another for the last 34 consecutive years. This will be his first onstage performance in many years. Come and enjoy the artistry of these talented thespians, including our own Tom Meyrose!
